The first-year admission test for the academic session of 2019-20 at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has been held.

The entry test  began at 9.00 am ended at 12:00 pm on Monday.

The applicants were not able to bring mobile phones, smartwatches or any other electronic devices. They only brought admit card, pen/pencil and calculators of approved models (details in prospectus) with them.

Traffic movement was restricted in roads adjacent to BUET from 6:00am to 1:00pm due to the examination.

Earlier, BUET authorities selected a total of 12,161 candidates to attend the admission test.
